Vegetable Manchurain

     
                  Preparation time : 15 mins              Cooking Time : 20 mins         

         Ingredients

         For Vegetable Balls                                          
         Chopped cabbage            -- 2 cups                 
         Carrot grated                    -- 1 cup                               
         Chopped spring onions    --1/2 cup                    
         Cornflour                          -- 4 tbsp                        
         Plain flour (maida)            -- 4 tbsp                       
         Ginger garlic paste           --  2 tbsp                     
         Chopped green chilies     -- 2tbsp
         Tomato sauce                  -- 3 tbsp
         Soya sauce                      -- 2 tbsp       
         Salt according to taste                                       
         Oil for deep frying
         

   
   
 
        Method: 


For Vegetable Balls
1. Squeeze water from grated cabbage and carrots .
2. Add grated cabbage, grated carrots and spring onions in a bowl.

 3. Add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste and chopped green chilies.

4. Add salt to taste and mix them well.
5. Add 1/2 cup maida and 3 tbsp of cornflour .
  
6. Mix well and knead to a soft dough (no need to add water)
7. Make small balls out of it. 


8. Heat oil in a fry pan.
9. Add balls in the oil and deep fry on medium heat to golden and crisp.


10. Drain balls on absorbent paper and keep aside.
11. Now, the Manchurians are ready.

For The Gravy
1. In a pan, add 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste,chili and tomato sauce,soya sauce,little salt,cornflour paste(1 tbsp cornflour + 1/4 cup water) and mix well.
2. Heat the pan with the sauce in a medium flame.
3. Add half cup of water to it and bring it to a boil. 

4. Add Manchurain balls to the gravy. Stir well and turn off the flame.
How to Serve 

 1. Place the Manchurians in a serving bowl and garnish them with chopped spring onions.
2. Now, Vegetable Manchurians is ready .
